First Boats Nearing Completion
The first boats in the new fleet are nearing completion and have been put into the water for final rigging and fitting out. Check out these pictures that Clipper have released:
Completed hull and deck being lowered into the water for the first time before all the mast and rigging are fitted.
The picture doesn’t really give the true impression as to the size.
Picture of the galley area. Way bigger than anything I’ve been used to – probably more worktop space here than there is in my kitchen at home. Mind you if you’re cooking for 20 you’re going to need it!
Interesting that they already have the tidy pockets fitted to the hull sides……
Sail locker looking back from the bow (pointy end). Note the 4 bunks that are already installed – hope I don’t draw one of those!! Not going to be pleasant trying to get some kip in there in either the tropics or a blow!
You can see why it’s called the Ghetto now.
That is a LOT of deck space! Going to need my GPS just to find the bow!!
Wonder if that’s the installation manual next to the winch…..?
